The operating challenge
Complexity had accumulated across the revenue stack.
A global transportation organization had accumulated years of complexity across legacy tools, duplicate Company records, disconnected operating workflows, inconsistent lifecycle data, and manual processes.
Before configuration could begin, the business logic behind those processes had to be understood: what information mattered, how records related, where ownership changed, and how work moved between teams.
The assignment was to turn that operating reality into a CRM environment people could actually use.
How the work progressed
From legacy operations to revenue operations.
Legacy Operations
Understand the operating logic, dependencies, and information held outside the CRM.
Data Mapping
Translate legacy fields and relationships into a governed CRM data structure.
CRM Architecture
Define objects, properties, associations, lifecycle structure, and ownership.
Operational Pipeline
Reconstruct Meetings & Events work as a usable stage-based process.
Workflow Automation
Route inquiries, assign ownership, and trigger the right operational actions.
Revenue Operations
Support campaign execution, attribution, and trusted operational reporting.
Architecture
One connected operating model.
Operational data moved through a deliberate transformation layer into structured CRM records, then into the workflows and reporting used by revenue teams.
Integrations were delivered collaboratively with the client’s technical teams; my work focused on mapping, validation, and the HubSpot side. HubSpot remained the operating source of truth.
Four core workstreams
01
Clean the CRM
Investigated duplicate and shell Company records while preserving the relationships revenue teams relied on. The work combined deduplication processes, domain-based enrichment, association review, and practical data governance.
02
Connect the data
Mapped recurring operational source data into HubSpot so contacts, companies, ownership, and lifecycle segments could support day-to-day CRM operations. I owned the mapping and validation, working alongside the client’s technical teams, who managed the integration itself. Imports and synchronization were validated at production scale.
03
Rebuild operations in HubSpot
Studied an existing Meetings & Events process, then reconstructed its business logic inside HubSpot. The result was a working operating process—not just a new pipeline—shaped around how the team moved requests from intake through resolution.
04
Activate revenue workflows
Connected the stronger CRM foundation to lifecycle marketing, sales sequences, task creation, event execution, campaign reporting, and attribution support—giving revenue teams a more coherent way to act on the data.
Implementation evidence
What I actually built.
The work extended from data architecture through the operating experience used by teams every day. Client screens and records remain private.
